Subject	350Z brake kit installed and I need earplugs when I brake

Message	A former Z32 owner gave me a set of the old 6060 aluminum brake caliper adapters, so I decided to install them this week. I have Brembo slotted 12.75" rotors, Hawk HP Plus pads, and the factory shims. The brakes are great, but the sound when I touch the brake pedal is glass shattering. I am pretty sure that it is the adapters that are doing the squealing or should I say "singing." I have noticed that these adapters are bare metal, but the ones that Coz sells are coated. Is that my problem or is it something else? Thanks, -C
